Our Charges:

As a registered charity all monies received through fees and fundraising are used for the day to day running costs of the Pre-School Playgroup and for the purchase of new equipment.

Our current fees are £7.50 per session. Please note that you are required to pay for all regular sessions whether or not your child attends – including sessions missed due to sickness or holiday.

All 3 and 4 years old children are entitled to Free Nursery Education for five funded sessions per week (15 hours) commencing the term following their 3rd birthday. If you take your full entitlement of sessions with the Pre-School Playgroup and require sessions in addition to these you will be charged at the standard session fee of £7.50, however if you choose to take all or part of your funded sessions with another provider the rate charges for additional session will be equivalent to the amount that we would receive from Nottinghamshire County Council for a funded place (currently £12.00).

From September 2017, the Free Nursery Education hours for 3 and 4 years olds has been increased to 30 hours for working parents, subject to certain criteria. Please click here for more information and details on how to apply.

Some families of 2 year olds are eligible for a free childcare place for 15 hours per week, find out if you are eligible at

We accept payment through childcare vouchers and are registered with many many providers, we can also accept payments directly to our bank account. Please speak to Lynda or Lynn for details.

We have a voluntary uniform and would like the children to attend in a light blue polo shirt and a navy cardigan or jumper.  Items with them Pre-School Playgroup logo on are available to buy.
